Welcome to join me for a walk around the part of Nävsjön that is a nature reserve. This little lake is just a couple of kilometers from my home and contains a 350 yers old forest and is one of my favourite places to visit.
The first part of the walk is over wetland and in to the forest
The path from the parkingspot into the woods
The first sight of the lake: Nävsjön
A footbridge over the wetland in to the woods
A veiw from the footbridge
An old stump dressed in moss
And this is? Could it be some insect eggs?
Deeper into the Forest
A hoverfly trying to decide which way to go
The second part is deeper through the oldest part of the nature reserve with the 350 years old trees.
A piece of the 350 years old Forest
The grass is swaying in the breeze
A lot of moss and an old fallen down tree
A glade filled with Linnea flowers
The third part of the walk is following the shoreline of the Lake
A part of the Lake
Some waterlily buds
A close-up of the water laping against the rocks
Some water striders taking a rest on the lily pads
The amber coloured water of the lake
And the fourth part of the walk goes through the “younger” part of the forest, only 250 years old.
I have no idea what this is, maybe it is a place for spider eggs?
Some reflections on the surface
A fallen down branch
The gulls riding on the wind
Mushrooms hiding in the moss
The footbridge heading back to the parkin lot
The path back to the parking lot
